It carries out national and international projects to study potential, pretreatment and densification of biomass (pellets), obtaining biodiesel and bioethanol from agroforestry waste, biomass co-combustion, gasification and pyrolysis. The Society for the Development of the Province of Burgos (SODEBUR) is an instrumental entity of the Provincial Council to promote the economic and social development of the province of Burgos and its municipalities. The Provincial Agency of Energy of Ávila, APEA, belonging to the Diputación de Ávila, has as its main objective the promotion of the rational use of energy, the promotion of a culture of energy saving and efficiency and the use of indigenous renewable energy sources. It aims to contribute to a better use and correct management of local energy resources, both in urban and rural areas, having the citizens of the province of Avila as the main beneficiaries and highlighting the entity's commitment to an energetically sustainable future.

In the CIDAUT Foundation's Energy and Environment Area, the main lines of activity are the development of new liquid biofuels, energy applications of agroforestry biomass based on gasification technologies, technologies for the production and use of hydrogen, and the design of products, buildings and maintenance systems aimed at efficiency and energy and environmental savings.

The Natural Environment Analysis Center offers its clients its infrastructure and more than 15 years of experience to provide the widest range of analytical services for water, soil, sludge, slurry and biomass. The main services correspond to analysis and sampling of environmental matrices such as drinking water, inland water, waste water, sludge from treatment plants, slurry, analysis and agronomic studies and characterization and analysis of biomass (pellet, chips, sawdust, etc. ), carried out under Analysis and Sampling Standards.
