CARTIF develops new technologies for the energy use of biomass and the production of biofuels. It carries out national and international projects to study potential, pretreatment and densification of biomass (pellets), obtaining biodiesel and bioethanol from agroforestry waste, biomass co-combustion, gasification and pyrolysis.
