CARTIF develops new technologies for the energy use of biomass and the production of biofuels. In the CIDAUT Foundation's Energy and Environment Area, the main lines of activity are the development of new liquid biofuels, energy applications of agroforestry biomass based on gasification technologies, technologies for the production and use of hydrogen, and the design of products, buildings and maintenance systems aimed at efficiency and energy and environmental savings.

The Natural Environment Analysis Center offers its clients its infrastructure and more than 15 years of experience to provide the widest range of analytical services for water, soil, sludge, slurry and biomass. The main services correspond to analysis and sampling of environmental matrices such as drinking water, inland water, waste water, sludge from treatment plants, slurry, analysis and agronomic studies and characterization and analysis of biomass (pellet, chips, sawdust, etc. ), carried out under Analysis and Sampling Standards.
